Let me tell you a story..

I never was the slacker and I never was the chill kid. I always strived to perform at my highest level - to write great homework, get good grades, to go the extra mile, to really do my best at whatever I was doing. This resulted into me ending up sick after every exam and peak period for almost two decades straight.

Over time, two things have happened.

First of all, I have realized that not everyone does things the same and not everyone drops almost-dead for a week or two after they submit all of their school papers or finish a project at work. This means, that even if we may experience the very same conditions and situations, we experience them differently.

Second of all - there apparently was a way to do it better. Without burning and crashing after every peak. That sounds hopeful, doesn’t it?

If others can do it, that means there is a way, and if here is a way, I can find it too.

So I started to observe. And you know what I found out? Everybody does it differently. Everybody does it their way. And yet, they still get it done. So there is no ONE way to do it, the one ultimate way you need to train yourself for or learn.

But you know what the best part is?

You can find your own.

The moral of the story? I still need go through heavy times when they come, I still experience busy weeks, overtimes, unpredictable personal situations, project peaks and overwhelming assignments, but… While I might sometimes get very close to slipping back where I was, now I see it coming and I know what to do instead, and I avoid the crash. And instead of keeping it up for a couple of months at a time, I haven’t been sick for years.

If I - the mental marathoner I always was - can find the way of getting through it all while staying sane and well…

…you can too.

And whenever you are ready.. I will be honored to help you do just that.
